As part of the Buddha's Day and Multicultural Festival, Buddha's Light International Association of Victoria brings to Melbourne the Buddha's Day Knowledge Centre.

The Buddha's Day Knowledge Centre features books by the Venerable Master Hsing Yun, founder of Fo Guang Shan and titles published by Buddha's Light Publishing in conjunction with the Fo Guang Shan Translation Centre.

Other genres include Buddhist history, the daily life as a Buddhist, meditation teachings and vegetarian cook books.
