IKEBANA FOR KIDS

Presented in conjunction with ArtPlay and Ikebana International Chapter 29 Inc, Ikebana for Kids is a new children's program as part of the Buddha's Day and Multicultural Festival.

Ikebana or “the way of flowers’ is the Japanese art of flower arrangement, originating from the tradition of offering flowers to Buddha.

In this fun and unique workshop, kids will learn the basics of this ancient art practise from members of Ikebana International Chapter 29 Inc, Melbourne's peak Ikebana association, who are celebrating 50 years of Ikebana in Melbourne and Australia.
