What is Children's Corner?

The Children’s Corner offers a multitude of entertaining and intriguing activities for children of all ages. This is an opportunity for children to explore and experience different cultures and traditions. Some highlights include: Children’s Meditation, Children’s Hand-sign Dance, Arts & crafts

Children's Meditation

Meditation is an ancient practice that helps to achieve greater self-awareness and a more relaxed and peaceful frame of mind. When a child practices meditation, they become more present, mindful and learn to self-regulate. During these sessions, children will be guided through meditation in simple steps, focusing on their breathing and relaxation.

Children's Hand-sign Dance

Children and adults alike are welcome to join in the sign-language dance. Guided by young leaders, everyone can follow the simple steps to this joyous and lively dance that expresses songs written by Venerable Master Hsing Yun through sign-language, also creating an opportunity support those with hearing impairment.

Art & Crafts

The Arts and Crafts marquee offers exciting, hands-on activities to help engage your artistic and creative side. With crowd favorites including sand coloring, Chinese calligraphy and play-dough modelling, you will have the opportunity to create fun pieces of art that can be taken home as souvenirs.

Other activities include a “Life of Buddha” video paired with quizzes and games, as well as a play-dough station.
