COVID SAFE BDMF

The safety and wellbeing of all Festival attendees, volunteers and staff is out number one priority so we ask that all visitors to the BDMF follow the COVIDSafe practices described ob this page.

The BMDF will operate in accordance with out COVIDSafe Event Plan and in accordance with the Victorian Government’s COVID-19 guidelines applicable at the time and information relevant to keeping the BDMF COVIDSafe will be regularly updated here.

Please follow the instructions of BDMF staff and volunteers and adhere to the following principles while attending.

Attendance:

Do not attend if you are:

  • Feeling unwell
  • Showing symptoms of COVID-19
  • have been a close contact of a confirmed case in the past 14 days
  • or have otherwise been directed to self-isolate or quarantine

If you begin to feel unwell while at the BDMF, contact an event staff member immediately. We have St John Ambulance Victoria on site during all Festival hours for emergency assistance.

General COVIDSafe practices that you should follow at the Festival incude:

  • Maintain physical distancing of 1.5m from other attendees
  • Carry a face mask with you at all times and wear as instructed by Festival or Venue staff
  • Make frequent use of the hand sanitiser and washing facilities around Fed Square
  • Listen to and comply with instructions given by Festival or Venue staff
  • Stay up to date with the latest information from the Victorian Government at coronavirus.vic.gov.au

Contact Tracing

upon arrival attendees will be asked to provide the name and phone number of all attendees to assist with contact tracing. This is treated as confidential  health data and will only be used for the purposes of contact tracing and will be deleted after 28 days.
